The ICE group of companies originated in the USA in 1974 with the formation of International Construction Equipment, Inc. (ICE USA ) to manufacture and market advanced equipment for the deep foundation industry. The company is now America 's largest manufacturer of pile driving and drilling equipment. ICE equipment is manufactured in Matthews NC and China and is marketed through an international organization of company-owned branches and independent distributors.

The American shareholders, with Dutch partners, opened International Construction Equipment BV (ICE BV) in The Netherlands in 1977 to market, and then to manufacture, foundation equipment in Europe. ICE Far East Pte . Ltd. was formed in Singapore in 1982 to serve the foundation industry in the Far East. ICE Far East owns ICE ICE Far East Sdn. Bhn. in Malaysia. ICE APAC in China was established in 2003.

ICE USA manufacturers and markets vibratory pile driver/extractors, single-acting diesel hammers, double-acting diesel hammers, hydraulic impact hammers, continuous-flight top-drive augers, leads & spotters, excavator-mounted drill masts and limited-access drilling units.
