ICE's patented Dual-pull suppressors provide maximum vibration isolation during driving and light extraction combined with high pull capability for tough extraction jobs. During driving and lighter extraction, normal shear elastomers are used to provide maximum vibration isolation. After extraction pull reaches a specific level, one or two compression elastomers combine with the shear elastomers to provide high extraction pull capability. |

The chart below for Model 28C vibrator with Dual-pull suppressor illustrates the dual action of the advanced new suppressor. The left section of the load curve (up to about 4" of deflection) shows the area of operation employing only shear elastomers for maximum vibration isolation during driving and light extraction. After about 4" of deflection, the compression elastomer combines with the shear elastomers to provide the highest overall extraction pull capability.
The Dual-pull suppressor on the Model 28C vibrator is rated at 80 tons (712 kN).
Dual-pull suppressors are now available on several ICE units including the Models 28C, 66C, 84C, V360 and 125C.
