Nearly four years after Hurricane Katrina, the rebuilding of New Orleans canals and levees are about 50% complete. The task of faced by the Army Corps of Engineers is daunting in the scope of work required to help lessen the risk of the damage caused by Katrina. In fact this represents the largest design build project in the Corps history.
