Amoco Oil Rig
| Project Company | Estado Monagas |
| Problem | The rig site was 4 hours by boat through the jungle. Even a helicopter would require a 1 hour trip by boat. The location was remote and large cranes wer unavailable for the project. |
| Solution | I.C.E. recommended the Model 812 for driving the five pipe piles that would be used to moor construction and material barges. Marty Blake traveled to Venezuela to instruct the crew on the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment. |
| Results | The piles were driven in three sections. The 36-in pipe piles, which would be 120-ft long when completed were driven in three 40-ft sections. Total driving time did not exceed 15 minutes. |
| What the Client Says | "From the beginning, I.C.E. responded to our requests quickly and prvided recommendations that were really appreciated. Having I.C.E. representative, Marty Blake, on the site enabled us to get the job done without any incidents, and in record time, leaving us with a satisfied customer."
