Cofferdam Project
| Project Company | Falcon Crane & Equipment |
| Problem | The project involved the installation of one of two cofferdams for a new walkway in a low-headroom situation. Even with the low-headroom set-up the 35 ft.Z-piles had to be cut and driven in two sections. There was a 12 ft wide concrete barrier just beyond the river bottom in the exact location of the cofferdam's southwest corner. |
| Solution | Once I.C.E. helped Daniel access the situation, the Model 216 was recommended. The all-around low profile of the 216 vibrator and switching out of the standard suppressor for a low overhead suppressor solved the problem. |
| Result | The experience of the crew combined with the all-around low profile of the I.C.E. Model 216, enabled them to install the piles around the barrier with few complications. |
| What the Client Says | "the 216 was easy to handle even around the barrier. Once we determined how we needed to approach the problem, driving the piles was easy." Kenneth Daniel |
