ICE Acquires Drive-Con, Inc

Matthews, North Carolina - February 28, 2010 – International Construction Equipment (ICE), the largest North American manufacturer of pile driving and drilling equipment, has acquired Drive-Con, Inc. (Drive-Con) to bolster their presence in the pile driving services provider vertical in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
Drive-Con had been providing foundation contractors in the Greater DC and Baltimore, Maryland areas with top-of-the-line piling equipment since 1987 including vibratory drivers/extractors, diesel hammers, hydraulic impact hammers, leads/spotters, top-drive drills, and excavator-mounted drills. Drive-Con’s outstanding commitment to providing their clients with superior pile driving equipment and unparalleled customer service helped them to establish a reputation as one of the top providers in their region.
True to their belief that exceptional products and customer service are key elements of a successful business, ICE has chosen to fold the talents of Jill Kennedy and Terry Lee into their organization. This will allow ICE to continue to service the portfolio of clients in the Greater DC/Baltimore area; which will be managed under the assistance of veteran Regional Manager, Joe Carobine.
