Marvin Inniss has recently reached an incredible milestone--25 years with International Construction Equipment, Inc. (ICE®)! Since joining the ICE® New Jersey Service, Sales & Rentals Branch in 2000, Marvin has exemplified dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. His journey from a skilled diesel mechanic to a revered service manager is nothing short of inspiring.  

A driving force behind the success of ICE®, Marvin brings an unwavering dedication to deep foundations and an unmatched work ethic. As a seasoned industry veteran, his behind-the-scenes efforts have played a vital role in ensuring seamless operations, setting the standard at ICE®.

The past five years have brought significant challenges, but also remarkable growth for the New Jersey branch. Marvin observes that 2020 was a turning point, instilling a deeper sense of empathy and respect within his team. By fostering an environment where personal struggles could be addressed constructively, he helped create a stronger, more understanding workplace. 

As a father, Marvin takes immense pride in seeing his two sons follow in his footsteps as part of the ICE® family. This personal legacy speaks volumes about the values of service and dedication he embodies, both at work and at home. 

Marvin's greatest asset, he says, is his ability to connect with others--whether guiding team members, supporting clients, or simply being a source of encouragement. His advice to those aspiring to enter the service field is straightforward yet impactful: treat everyone with respect, acknowledge that we all face challenges, and build trust through understanding and patience. When asked what keeps him motivated at ICE®, Inniss highlights the camaraderie and opportunities for creativity. These qualities have made his journey with ICE® fulfilling and rewarding, inspiring him to continue leading with passion. 

While Marvin envisions retirement in his 60s, his plans remain grounded in family and a connection to his roots. Originally from Guyana, Inniss plans to split his time between the warmth of Guyana's winters and the vibrancy of New Jersey's springs and summers. With family close to his heart, he looks forward to continuing his journey with ICE® while fostering meaningful relationships.
