Celebrating the Remarkable Career of Jill Rennenkampf
May 23, 2025
After an impressive 22 ½ years of dedication, Jill Rennenkampf is bidding farewell to ICE®. Serving as the Regional Office Manager and support for both the ICE® Capital and Chesapeake Branches for the majority of her time here; Jill's career reflects resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to excellence--a legacy that will leave a lasting impact on the ICE® community.
Jill's career began in 2002 when she returned to the workforce after 15 years as a stay-at-home mom. Eager to find a part-time role, she answered an ad for an administrative assistant position at Drive Con. Hired on the spot, Jill started with just four hours a day, five days a week--a schedule that aligned with her children's school hours. Over the next two years, her responsibilities expanded, and her contributions grew, setting the stage for a rewarding career.
In 2010, Drive Con was acquired by ICE®, officially bringing Rennenkampf into the ICE® family. Her dedication and adaptability during the transition showcased her ability to thrive in dynamic environments, a hallmark of her career.
Reflecting on her time with ICE®, Jill fondly remembers the stability her job provided during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a time when so much was uncertain, coming to work each day offered a sense of routine and normalcy. Rennenkampf's resourcefulness shone as she tackled unique challenges, from supporting the team to sourcing essential supplies, ensuring the workplace operated as smoothly as possible. Her efforts were a testament to her commitment to both her colleagues and the company.
For Jill, the true highlight of her career has always been the people. Her colleagues' unwavering support and shared commitment to success have been a source of inspiration and gratitude. Over the years, she has experienced firsthand the camaraderie and dedication that define ICE®, fostering a strong sense of community and teamwork.
Outside of work, Jill finds joy in several hobbies and pastimes that reflect her vibrant personality. She has a passion for cooking, often experimenting with new recipes to delight family and friends. In her downtime, Jill enjoys crafting and gardening--activities that allow her to channel her creativity and connect with nature. Her love for spending quality time with her family remains central to her life, forming the foundation for many cherished memories.
As Rennenkampf transitions into retirement, she leaves behind a legacy of excellence, teamwork, and resilience. Her contributions as Regional Office Manager for the ICE® have significantly shaped the company's success and upheld ICE®'s mission. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who have had the privilege of working alongside her.
Looking towards the future, Jill is excited to dedicate her time and energy to Columbia Community Care (CCC), a local organization founded in 2020 at the start of the pandemic. Having supported CCC for years through donations, she is excited to now take an active role in volunteering. Through CCC's programs focused on hunger relief and youth development, Jill plans to contribute to Howard County's community assistance efforts, furthering her commitment to service and support.
Jill's departure marks the end of an era, but it also celebrates the beginning of a new chapter filled with possibilities. Her ICE® family wishes her all the best in her retirement and thanks her for over two decades of unwavering dedication.
Congratulations, Jill, on an exceptional career and a well-deserved retirement!
